Has the world gone mad??

Our third goal against Sheff Utd was quite obviously an own goal, yet every website ever (and the new ch5 football league show) seems to have given it to John Egan, even though he was nowhere near the incident.

The whole world has been fooled by a) the cameraman focussing in on Egan immediately after the goal, and b) the stadium announcer giving the goal credit to Egan. The players immediately went over to celebrate with the corner taker, which should have been a telltale sign that it was an o.g.!

Harsh on the Sheff Utd defender, because it was a quite wonderful own goal, one of the best I've ever seen live. He had ages to react, absolutely no reason for him to head it towards his own goal! Brilliant stuff.

Yeah it was definitely number 15 Collins who headed it in. As the first goal was actually Norris and not Osadebe.

Not a good afternoon for goal announcements / match reporting!

I was in the Rainham end, but even from there I could tell Osadebe was absolutely nowhere near the first goal.
