The best part is that it mentions Redknapp being interested in Kyle Naughton. That will please most fans on here!
Andy Townsend? Remy's got an £8m release clause, but we'll give you £10m if you keep that twat off ITV.
Would love Remy at the club, and getting rid of Naughton and Siggy as make-weights is a bonus, for me.
Have we signed another dud from you boys? The lads on our Board aren't too impressed so far. Mind you if we signed Ronaldo, as soon as he'd pull on the QPR shirt, he'd go to pish aswell http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/279619-Beast
Dud no but he's not as good as a lot of Spurs fans think. Because he was a character he was popular, on the pitch he had a handful of good performances but for me I wasn't too gutted we sold him as Capoue is a better all round player.
Disagree with my colleague. When he settles he will be top class. Fantastic ball winner and no mug when he's got the ball. Will also score the odd screamer.
A fully fit Sandro is a very good holding midfield player who can hold his own with the ball, too. Capoue's got a bit more about him, in my opinion. Protects the back four well, but he's quicker to distribute it and is always available for a pass. He's been consistently good for us this season, even when we haven't clicked as a team.
To be honest, I've not seen enough of Capoue to say. I wasn't saying Sandro is better, but he is a player I like very much.
Sandro is a very good destructive player but as PNP says Capoue can play more than the big Brazilian without really compromising on the defensive side of the game too much. For Pochettino, its not enough for a player to just be a ball winner or a creative player as one of the deep midfield 2, he likes 2 players who can do a bit of both rather than two specialists working with each other. This allows both men to press without leaving a lightweight creative midfielder exposed. We'd never see a Modric/Parker combo from Pochettino IMO. That is probably a reason why he sold Sandro (funnily enough Sherwood may have had the same reservation?), and could be a reason why he is reserving judgement on Carroll for a year, who he probably feels is too far in the other direction.
Looks like Benny don't want to leave you guys: http://www.not606.com/showthread.ph...emands-are-preventing-a-move-to-QPR-or-Palace
They'll probably either loan him out for virtually nothing for the rest of his contract or pay him off. Total waste of time for both parties at the moment.
For the first few games he was class. Far too good for that division................or so we thought. He then decided that he could just turn up and not bother to run, track or do anything really. In short, his attitude stunk. Shame because he's blessed with great talent. Sandro put in his first full 90 minutes for us the other night. His passing was poor but he got a vital tackle in near the end which prevented a goal. If he shores up his passing a bit I think he could be a very decent player for us. PS I see you lads are on a bad run. Hope the rot stops now and you can get back up table.
