Ranocchia came on for Inter Milan last night so for a short while ex Hull City team mates Robertson and Ranocchia were playing against each other in the European Cup
wycombe 5-5 cheltenham 0-1 3-1 ht 3-3 5-3 5-5 mad spell in the second with goals in the 66th, 68th, 69th, and 71st minutes (middle two for wycombe, the others for cheltenham), reminiscent of our mad second half start against birmingham in the 3-2 win at bp. the three wycombe first half goal came in 7 minutes. two wycombe players scored twice (one got the 68th and 69th minute goals) and one cheltenham player (alfie may) scored four, their first two and last two. alfie may is a former doncaster player. he's scored 8 of cheltenham's 11 goals that have come in their last four games. it may be a late flowering situations as he's 28, but he's on 15 for the season in 32 games. this compares to a career total of 39 goals in 184 games. perhaps he's recently been converted from defence or something.
Bruce hasn’t won a single game all season yet and he’s managed two different clubs in two different leagues.
Reading sack their manager and appoint Paul ****ing Ince who hasn't managed since leaving Blackpool in 2014! They've also got his massively overrated ****house of a son on loan as well.
Should have stayed retired with his 7mil in the bank and enjoyed himself, on a hiding to nothing at WBA.......but at least he has got Alex a job.
not surprised. i can remember various people on here and other city boards touting pairs of former city players as "the dream team" whenever we were temporarily managerless and usually the "dream team" had never managed a game between them. some people get blinded by the idea of someone famous.
My tinpot theory is that Bruce’s main motive for taking the WBA job was to make it a launching pad for Junior’s career in management. Besides, coaching and retirement are quite similar for Steve. He only has his teams training 2-3 times a week and goes on holiday whenever there’s an international break.
They’re playing at walking pace, Leeds very lucky the bottom of the premier league is so poor as that’s probably why they’ll stay up
Not even laying a glove in their cup final. Stick to Huddersfield lads they're more your level and a far closer "rivalry:
