but.... the big story will be will Nicky sign a new contract before then as from Jan he will have 6 months left on his contract and will be allowed to have talks with other clubs about joining them at the end of the season on potentially a free.
Given his recent form and positive comments about the club and wanting to take the club forward I am a little surprised that he has not come out yet and given an answer to whether he is willing to start contract talks or if he just wants to leave.
