Lampitt does not get the credit he deserves. Would you like to be in his position? He has much to weigh up and juggle, he's castigated from every angle, nothing he does placates the fans and all the while he's got to try and keep the team in shape for his manager. I would not trade his place- well, unless they offered me what Storrie was on!

But i expect the decent salary he's paid helps to ease his personal worries...
