If we get rid of Xisco (who still has two and a half years left on his ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã50kpw contract) that's ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã6m saved in future wages along with whatever transfer fee we can get for him (let's say ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã2m).
Carroll's ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã30kpw for another four and a half years would have cost us ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã6.5m. Plus the ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã35m (rising to ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã40m) we got for him.
We spent ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã5m on Ben Arfa (which I'm sure MA will claim from the Carroll money...) and probably about ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã1m in wage contributions for Ireland.
If we can tie some of our better players down to improved contracts (though look where that got us with Andy... <erm>) then we should still have plenty left over to bring in fresh faces.
