I'm joining the party late, looks like a storm is brewing. This "Murray" geezer sounds like a plank. Shut up talking rubbish, everyone knows what a public forum is and this is a public forum - i.e. open to the public to join and contribute - I don't have to be invited to use it and I don't have to be a member of a sect to use it. I don't want to comment on what has allegedly been taking place but if the mods are censoring negative posts then that is outrageous and unacceptable. If they are merging similar threads to make space, that is fine. One of the criticisms I had of 606 was the million threads all saying the same thing - repeat threads make you miss out on seeing the interesting threads.
It was the latter. It's all there in the 'rotten to the core' thread. Nothing censored, nothing deleted, nothing berated, nothing belittled. Just moved to create a bit of space for a variety of opinion to be heard.
Nothing wrong with that, I'm glad you do, nothing worse than looking at tthe first page and seeing the same repeated articles.
Yeah ... you just described "open to the public", you muppet lol. Public means publicly owned, and like I said, we ain't that. And if we ain't that, then nobody has any "right to free speech" on here like Jayram was claiming. The admins pay for the site, and they can kick you up the arse for not following the rules any way they like. If Jayram feels that his rights have been violated because he's been told off for posting thread after thread basically saying the same whinging, he can go off to another forum. Nobody was censoring anything, either.
