I think we will win 6 -1 - Mitrovic to score all of them, including Norwich's and all within the space of 8 minutes

    What we would have expected:

    Southampton: 1/3
    Swansea: 1
    West Ham 0/1
    Watford 3
    Arsenal 0
    Chelsea 0
    Man U 0
    City 0

In terms of points lost that we should have had, it's only about 3. In terms of time since we won anything, it's frightening.

If the Chelsea, Man City first half performances are the standard we are now able to produce reasonably consistently we have plenty of time to make up the lost points. If not, then we are in very serious trouble.

We absolutely must start this game well and open the scoring. If we don't and concede first, that's it. We just can't stop the rot once we go behind. Norwich will be all too aware of our fragilities and will try and silence the crowd as quickly as possible.

This team is simply not capable of digging in and coming from behind at the moment.

An ugly 1-0 (I know, we can't defend a 1-0) or 2-1 is what we need to try and get out of this terrible slump.

This could just about be our saving grace this year. IF we keep those two fit (and Mitro on the pitch) we have a front two that can lead from the front and both know where the back of the net is. Problem is that we have got to have someone who can get the ball into them and somehow we have got to keep the ball away from our end of the pitch!

I thought was just Pardew's fault?? You mean its a confidence thing. Maybe we should grovel and ask Alan to come back. He was a genius and genuine lothario

There's no doubting Sir Alan's status as a lothario. Genius is a stretch.

I've never liked the man, but i said from the off that he was a perfect fit for Palace. Good luck to him there. I have no axe to grind with him, now he is no longer our problem.

Our clubs plight is completely of our own making. The slide has been a cumulative effort over the past two plus years. Sir Alan played his part in it, but it is not his fault.

He's clearly irresistible! Everyone round here is incapable of forgetting about him. He's like that Ex girlfriend who was really no good for you but you can't stop thinking about because she was hot!

Can see you winning. Perform like you did against Chelsea and city first half and should have more than enough for them.

Just depends f can perform like that against a 'smaller' team or if the players were just getting up for it against the big boys.

Life just gets worse for us. Apparently Tim Krul has been injured playing for Holland tonight but one hopes it's not too serious seeing as we have Elliot and Darlow to face the Mackems.

Krul has knee ligament damage according to the Dutch press. They are saying 2-3 months on the sidelines.

These injuries are a real kick in the teeth. This is the point of the season we should have been hoping to turn things around after a difficult start. It's not looking very promising for this one now.
