It's summer so forget football. Here are my 3. 1) Justin Gatlin will win silver in the World Athletics Championship in the 4th fastest time ever. 2) Serena Williams to win the Grand Slam and not be voted "Overseas Personality of the Year" at the BBC 2015 annual sports awards. 3) NZ are the most complete rugby union team the world has ever seen.
1. England will win the Ashes 2. Murray will win Wimbledon 3. Koeman will extend his contract Sadly, I know which is most unlikely (clue: isn't the first two).
I stand by my view...Ron will never sign a new contract , whereas England have a measurable chance in the Ashes.
Number 3 is akin to saying that Barcelona are Europe's best football team...hardly going shock and awe!
1) Roy Hodgson is the best England manager since Glenn Hoddle 2) Adam Lallana will be Liverpools player of the season in 2015/16 3) It will be in Saints best interests not to reach the group stage of the Europa League
1) Kane is a good striker but nothing more and will struggle to replicate his form this season. 2) Everton will come back incredibly strongly this season with no European distractions. 3) Rodgers will get the sack.
I'll do 3 new ones: 1. Bournemouth will not be relegated 2. England will win the Rugby WC 3. Saints will win a trophy next season
1. James Ward-Prowse will score 15 goals and make 30 assists. 2. Maarten Stekelenburg will have more clean sheets than any other Premier League keeper. 3. Liverpool will be relegated despite buying Florin Gardos in January for £40 million.
1) Sadio Mane will be up for PFA POTY award scoring 15+ LEAGUE goals. 2) Arsenal will challenge this year, but still do poorly in the EL. 3) We will qualify for Europa group stages and finish around 12th - causing a meltdown by the unrealistic bunch on here.
I do not expect us to win the Europa (sigh), but hope we make a good showing. As for number 2, you could post that every season As for Sadio Mane, have high hopes for him.
Would you take a good run in Europa - say Quarter/Semi's losing to a CL drop out over league position ? I certainly would. With the Arsenal I mean truly challenge not the half arsed ones we've seen in the recent past, this does depend on Morgan going there though.
If you are talking one league spot and we are still top 8...I would rather get to the later stages of the Europa which would suggest we are progressing. If it was the difference between finishing 5th and 4th...whole different ball game.
What if it was the difference between 6th and 12th. 6th being fail to make group stages, and 12th being that we made semis. This is all hypothetical of course but linked into my point 3
