He's a Chilean international, plays for Sporting, one of my favourite players to watch.

A real ball player and playmaker, great short sharp passing and decision making, he is ****ing brilliant.

Wee bit small, but then so was Zola, watched him since he was at Villareal, and he has so much ability, he'd cost around £14million, so probs just dreaming!

anyone think of any good creative CM's?

cannot really think of many as they are not very many and the good ones would cost a bomb

MoNsMush you know your Spanish football, few fans on the SMB rekon we should be looking at Verdu at Espanyol, what u think?

Never seen anything overly impressive in him in honesty mate, there are better options around.

Disco, enjoy, and look out for Mr Puyol getting absolutely owned!

    See vid above!

He puts himself about mate, he's not Silva standar, obviously, but he's along those lines.

Watched him against Gijon for Villareal a couple of years back and he was off the map, leaving trails of defenders on their backs, made one with an outside of boot defense splitter, and scored a smashing half volley.

Watched him since, he's just very, very good!

Would love that lad playing for us but cannot see it, not at the moment anyway, think he would be a luxury signing and a level up, at the minute we need good solid players to come in improve us and once that is done go for a player or two of the caliber of Fernandez.

We need a deep lying playmaker who will sit next to Catts OR Colback and get the attacks started, I cannot think of anyone at all that would be realistic, can you mate?

I like Moussa Sissokho of Toulouse, don't think he'd be impossible to get, physically should have no issues either, not scared of a tackle, half decent passer, and can crack a shot as well.

We could do a lot worse than him!

We could have had Axel Witzel last year, but Bruce pulled the plug, the ****ing idiot.

Seen him a few times and have to say he would be a good signing

two players I would love to have are Valencia duo Tino Costa and Ever Banega, both at the minute out of our reach I would say esp. Banega, the lad is quality

    How about Aquilani on loan?

Just read there he is heading back to Liverpool as he has npot found an Italian club.

I think the lad is a good player and has been very unlucky at Liverpool

I watched him last pre-season for Liverpool and you could tell the lad had something about his game, he had a touch of class about his game and I think he would do well at a club like this if he played a large majority of games.

At Liverpool the lad was very unlucky with injuries and fitness, obv. he aint a bad player as he has played for Juve and Milan over the last two years.

    Both quality!

Unlikely though, as you say, especially Ever.

What about Diego, gone back to Wolfsburg? Was superb at times for Atletico last season.

Liverpool are only after around £6million for Aquilani apparently, seems madness that no Italian club will pay it.

Think Rodgers will give him and Cole a chance mate! Seems like the sort who can get players playing.

Aside from that I think he may be one of those who's class but a tad too Italian for the epl.

Maybe, but if he's realistic he'd know he's taking a cut.

    Was smashing for Lille.

Just as an aside I see Gordon has knocked Celtic back over personal terms.

ES has called the coppers in to investigate Rupert Murdoch on phone tapping, how else is the news on ES private plans and resources being leaked.
