Been charged for violent conduct. Just came up on SSN. I almost thought that it was going to be ignored by the FA for a while.

As your rivals in the race for the Euro spots, can I ask out of curiosity how much this could influence your remaining games? Has he been one of your best players, or has he been a little low on form where losing him wouldn't be such a great miss?

IMO it's not so much that he's out, it's the fact Bosingwa will be replacing him <grr>

He's been in good form and scoring a few too. With the Barca games coming up we were always going to rotate so probably just means Bos or Paulo playing in the league / fa cup games and Ivan in Europe.

A blow but as long as the rest of the defenders can remain fit, we will cope.

Oh and I think it's atrocious he's been banned after other instances get brushed under the carpet

(Rooney and Balotelli just two examples)

I really do not understand why it matters if the referee claims to have seen it already. Doesn't mean he got the decision correct. This rule really needs to be changed where the FA can only act if the cunt in black claims to not have seen in.

Its a joke considering if you look at the beginning of the video its a provoked attack. FA yet again not holding standards also ignoring other clubs. The FA is a corrupt joke

This is outrageous! Brana is not a dirty player--and a 3 game ban is seriously out of order! We have to fight this tooth and nail!

Firstly, Brana deserves his ban. I don't doubt he was provoked by Maloney but he still shouldn't have punched him. And the notion that other cases where players have got away with it means he should be let off doesn't wash either.

The main point though is that this is really going to effect us domestically. Brana's our best right back no question, so we'll probably end up playing Bosingwa. Personally I'd rather we play Ferraira or possibly Luiz, though he hasn't particularly impressed me the couple of occasions he's played right back.

Should have changed his name to Rooney and shagged some old slappers, would have got away with it then.<ok>

Why in the blue hell did he appeal? His ban is sure to be extended now.
