Thought England came back strong today to reduce them to 455, need to push on but not a great start with cookie out, think we still have issues with our spinners though.

Hameed run out for 13, Root apparently culpable in calling for a 2nd run then sending him back when half way down wicket....

It's going to be hard enough to get close to India's total without giving away wickets....

An innings defeat on the cards now. Root blew it with the runout followed by a headcase shot to get himself out. The toss is the all-important part of matches in India, Cookie doesn't have a great record of calling it right so it could be a long hard month ahead...

255 all out but can't see India forcing the follow on though, rallied a bit but not enough.

I know England batted poorly but winning the toss will be the key influence on the outcome... Oh! and Kohli.

298 ahead with 7 wickets in hand, India can choose how much pain they inflict. Bat through to tea wearing us out tomorrow and four sessions to wrap it up. In all honesty they could declare now and still win easily...

England polish off the last 7 wickets for 106, doesn't bode well for batting last. 405 to win, what are the odds we don't make half that?...

A real war of attrition out there today, 52-0 from 40 overs. India really putting them under pressure but Cook and Hameed have done very well. I think we're playing for a draw...

Yes what a blow for England, if cook had still been there we would've had a good chance of saving it & still might yet, duckett in next & his technique is very suspect & don't expect him to hang around.
