Money is dominating everything nowadays. This is just another example.

Not sure what is wrong with this sacking?! Pulis, though a tosspot, did well as Manager but in all fairness has taken them as far as he can do. Stoke need to be revitalised and only way fro that to happen is a new manager.

Honestly can see the club appointing Pulis in Pardews place.

With managers like Martinez, Poyet and Benitez avalible it would sum Newcastle United up in one swift action.

"Look at these very talented managers who have a lot of prove and great CV's. Not to mention they would have the fans instant support. But over here is a man who plays very unattractive football and is one of the most hated managers in the country"

Who would we go for? Who would the board go for?

If Pulis is appointed as for some reason I suspect (Unless he's the next Everton manager of course!) then atleast we'll score some goals from set pieces and get some decent mid table positions...that's all we should expect for the next 40 years of our existence. <ok>

Would Pulis be more or less popular than the Allardyce appointment?

About the same, I reckon. For me, it would be just a case of "this can't be happening". With our main problem being quality of football, bringing in a guy renowned for long ball, defensive crap would be a PR disaster.

At least SA actually gets results, TP just gets Stoke plodding along. Sam would have been a success for NUFC, even if the style wasn't popular.
