If you think about it, the spare space would have been taken by another striker and SWP wouldn't be there if Ale was fit. I'd take that squad personally.
 
Oh, didn't check squad size. We really did cull the weak this summer.

Should have gone for Doyle yesterday. Not great, but would provide more cover upfront.
 
I've just spent 10 minutes going increasingly mad trying to work out the discrepancy between the offish list and Bill's.....thank you those of you who spotted it, my head was verging on 'done in'.

I'm assuming we will try and loan SWP to a championship side, even if we have to pay 99% of his wages. Are we still allowed to loan to European clubs, or is it all over now?
 
Minimal ACON damage this time - could only affect Taarabt and Traore, neither of whom are playing for their countries at the moment (I think). Morocco are hosts though, incentive for Adel? Senegal have to qualify from a group including Egypt, Tunisia and Botswana.
 
This may be a stupid question (at least I hope it is), but why is Charlie Austin not in the squad listed on the offish?
Is it an age thing? If so, then why is Yun listed when he's actually younger than Austin? :confused:

Just guessing but it might be something to do with home grown v non-home grown. Remember that players under a certain age don't take up a squad place.

Guess your not planning to go to Sunderland any time soon. After messing up the Borini deal. (though he would have messed that deal up himself anyway) Nicking him out from under their noses would wind them right up even more.
 
I don't imagine that the club are looking to sign a free agent, but if they were the Jonas (30 years old) guy has a good record: (League Record):

Guarani - 25 apps, 12 goals
Santos - 20 apps, 1 goal
Portugesa - 25 apps, 10 goals
Gremio - 74 apps, 40 goals
Valencia - 102 apps, 35 goals

Total: 246 apps, 98 goals.

Maybe be worth a short term deal until January.
