What do you make of smashing your transfer record for a guy in the MLS?They're probably the best team in the country. We're utterly ****, 0-4 (or worse) then we move on. This game is almost irrelevant, it's games like the home loss to Brighton and draw with Fulham which cost us.
I'd say we'll lose 10-0 but chances are they'll ease off once they're 3 or 4 up by half time.
Highly doubt it when they've just smashed their transfer recordRumours Rafa the messiah is off after the game. Wonder how true it is.

Will they play the whole game though?Luton winning
How the hell has the ref disallowed that and then books DeBruyne for taking a quick freekick![]()
Yeah, it's a huge gamble. Even if it was a better player, I think you need to plug a few gaps, one big signing won't cut it.Really odd. Given the players we've NOT signed over the past few years who were relatively safe bets it feels like a massive gamble. It's like buying someone from the dutch league (well that's pretty harsh on the dutch league but i'll make my point), for every Van Persie/Suarez there's a lot of Alfonso Alves/ Jon Dahl Tomasson players.
He's the right age but I'd argue he's not even the right position we need. Perez is very limited but he wouldn't be in my top 5 of players to replace in our team. RB, LB, Striker, CM (both of them)...
The purchase was possibly just to keep Rafa pacified. I'd say 30% he's totally rubbish, 10% he's great and a 60% he's a decent attacking midfielder for us in the Championship next year.
