Could you please point out where i've trolled you in this thread? All i've said is that I don't think you're good enough to break the 100 point barrier because you don't have match winners in your team (the players who nick goals when you've played poorly to get points or wins from tight games). Given that you're not even a third of the way there having played only two of the top 6 so far (one away loss, one home win), I don't think that's a difficult prediction.
To put it into further context, at this time during our promotion season we had 32 points from 14 games (1 more point than you from 1 less game) and we still needed to go on a run where we lost once in 26 games to scrape the 100 points on the last game of the season.
ffs you're like a bad smell. What you fail to understand, is that no one apart from the serial WUM Mr Hat has suggested we will break the points barrier, numbnuts. You're arguing with yourself.
I'm not arguing with anybody? I'm merely saying why you won't break the 100 point barrier and it's because you're not good enough.
Whatever Trevor. Stevie Wonder can see what you're 'merely saying'. You're poor at this. Time to retire.
I said we should be looking to make a record this season at the start, I continue to think the same. Just look at the quality in our squad. We have match winners for definite, Hernandez is becoming one, Diame definitely is although he's not quite up to scratch yet after a long injury lay off, Snodgrass is returning who can pop up with a goal from nowhere to win a tight game, Aluko definitely used to be at this level, he may find his mojo again, and Diomande we know nothing about other than he's fast as ****, he could well turn out to be. After a really **** start we're starting to grow in confidence, we're progressively playing better, individuals have improved their performances no end and we're currently sitting on the best defensive record in english football, which ive no doubt will continue to hold. I absolutely believe we can smash 100 points, even with Steve Bruce in charge, and I'd accuse anyone who thinks otherwise to be badly lacking in ambition.
I've seen your comments on here for a few years now and the stupid outweigh the sensible, if you posted more like you do on this thread then you wouldn't have the likes of Walter calling you out.
Who goes in January will have an impact on where we end up, Elmo looks the most likely but if Snodders can play at only 80 percent of his ability for the rest of the season after the injury then we won't miss Elmo. Got to be a worry that clubs will fancy Davies and Dawson too
Our squad now is miles better than the one that got you promoted. Even you must recognise that. We aren't even playing at 100% of our best and we're still beating teams. We just went down to Brentford, who finished in the playoffs last year and pushed them aside with very little in the way of problems, when they were on the back of a winning streak. It's not like confidence is low, we just need to avoid complacency. So we've got a squad of players far too good for this division (as a group, maybe a few individuals that are at their level but certainly nobody weaker), a manager who's got a track record of getting teams promoted from this division (something you didn't have) and a high level of momentum and confidence. What exactly are you basing your prediction on?
So you mean like the fact Hernandez already has 8 goals for us, Akpom on 2, and we haven't even seen what Diomande can do yet?
Yep, it'll be very tough, and I doubt we'll do it. Hat is the only one suggesting we will, I just don't understand how you can say that we don't have a better quality squad than you.
Middlesbrough will be our test. Let's see how we phase against the second best team in the league defensively if we are playing the stats card. 3-0 I think (not that it matters).
Bit like your run that you keep banging on about most have been games you expect to take something from
Just popped by to see how things are going ... some interesting views! and AKCJ boosting your posts figs I see Think the Championship will be a very interesting league this season and would expect yourselves, 'Boro, Derby and Burnley to be right there until the end of the season ... Brighton are doing incredibly well but not sure they can sustain it ... there is also a team that tends to come with a late surge and I could see Sheff Wed and possibly your dear neighbours, Leeds United, fulfilling that trend this season I'd be wary of Burnley - they seem to have a habit of bringing through a hot-shot to compliment a solid, if smallish, squad, and Andre Gray has looked pretty good on what I've seen of him (admittedly highlight footage but nevertheless) ... Game against 'Boro looks like it might just be a cracker ... good luck
The only concern for me is dropping our now high standards. Play to our level and nobody should beat us. Brizzle away concerns me more than Boro and Derby do.
Our current squad is better than Leicester's current squad, never mind the squad they had last year. This was proved, beyond doubt, on 27th October. Now **** off you sad set of ****tard ****s.
no argument there ... nor, taking into account Tickle's post, can it be argued that both our squads are languishing somewhat behind that of the mighty Bristol City ...
I see Tickles as more of a Top Hat or Shirt Front than a Bristol City. Even you lot are better than Bristol. Tickles is probably right though, it's what we do.
