I would say it'll stay the same. All the seats are still in place in all the stands I mentioned. It's simply a rail that runs the full length of each row, in each block so that when you stand you have something to lean / hold on to. I suppose it would prevent injuries if there was ever that much excitement at a match at Carrow Road and there was a crowd surge!!!
Agree, you pay for a seat, and get someone standing in your view. Either it's a seating area or a standing area. You cannot have both.
Found this on the club website. https://tickets.canaries.co.uk/PagesPublic/UserControlled/UserDefined.aspx?page=safestanding It doesn't answer your point necessarily Bure - just what the club is doing. My personal thoughts from regularly attending matches are that people want to stand in those areas so it makes it easier for stewards because standing is 'allowed'. If the seating was removed, it almost becomes terracing again, which sadly as we know from history, has brought untold pain to families who have lost loved ones. Keeping the seats helps everyone know where their place is to stand. It also means when the ground is used for non-NCFC games / events, the seats can be used. E.g The England women's game on Friday, people sat in the Barclay, myself included. It's just my thoughts. Total respect for others opinions. OTBC!

"Promotion in year 1 would be unbelievable, in year 2 would be really good, in year 3, it would be expected". Suggests we're taking a longer term approach to promotion, which I guess matches with the signings so far. Makes me less confident on keeping Sara and Rowe too, you'd think they want to be in a higher league faster than that.
Or it could be a way of lowering expectations now that things aren't going well. I shudder at the thought of the PL the way we've defended so far.
I don't know what you expected Rick, but I see no justification for saying "now that things aren't going well". As for shuddering about our defending, when was the last time we could claim a truly Pl-standard defence? 20 years ago?
Yes, but also Rob Green, Adam Drury and Marc Edworthy, with Gary Holt in front of them. Even then, we struggled and finished the following PL season with the worst GA total and worst GD in the league. In all honesty, I think you have to go back to the 1990s for the last time we had a genuinely PL-quality defence.
Malky didn't play for us in the Prem. He was released when we went up because he was too slow. Big mistake.
Yes, he went to West Ham, got promoted with them and was released again. Then joined Watford, got promoted for a third year running and finally played in the top flight. I may be wrong but I think Malky made his debut for us away to Sheff. U., a game that saw Bryan Gunn sent off at half time for something that happened in the tunnel. At the start of the second half we had no idea what had happened, or why Gunny was not out there.
