I wouldn't worry RP - Starmer can only get in if the people are given the chance to vote for him. I can't see the current Tories going to the country - the new PM (just like the last) will be selected by Tories themselves (the 'blue rinse brigade'), without the public having a say. ALL their MPs will get to have a go, one by one, before the Tories have the balls to call a GE !! Your 'Starmer-free' paradise is safe for a while.
BBB, (bring back Boris) which I mentioned a few weeks ago!!! Party gate is the least of the Countries worries!!
Boris had his majority and his chance to be a leader Despite the country backing him he failed by being a soft, lying, hypocrite who missed all the important details Popular yes, competent no
Angelic, they were all at it. Boris got the big calls - on Covid, the vaccine and Ukraine. I don't think he'll get enough votes from MPs to challenge for leadership. Should he be nominated he's the one candidate Captain Hindsight would fear.
I really turned off of Boris with the lies and buffoonery but Truss has been betrayed and gone, Sunak to me is a treachorous backstabber and too slick to trust, the evil 3 collaboration (Starmer, Sturgeon & Davey) would be a complete nightmare and destruction of the UK that most of us love, all of the other names that are being mooted are just day dreaming, when I think back Boris got us out of the death grip of the EU, he did win an election in 2019 with an 80 seat majority which in theory gives him a mandate still, he didn't creaate the current financial crisis, I will be more than happy to hear what he proposes to lead our country again, like a lot of other people my door is open and I'm prepared to listen.
I honestly believe the country will go into melt down if they try to bring BJ back. You may be prepared to listen, but I believe you are in the minority, big time .
I think Boris would be the publcs choice if there's no general election.. and if Boris was in when there is one, NP would stand a better chance than Starmer getting in!!
I've watched a couple of the current event shows on TV, some news clips and listened to some radio reports today, there is no doubt about it, every time they talk to a Labour, Liberal or SNP person and mention BoJo may possibly be standing in the race for PM they go into paroxysms of agression in their reactions, they are frightened to death of his possible return to the leadership.
Is that because they fear losing a GE to him, or because they are terrified of what damage and chaos he would cause the nation if he became PM again??
