As a Labour voter I cant see how the Tories would call an election. What the party stands for right now is incoherent. The pary lurches to and fro from fire fight to fire fight, and will want a period of stabilty to go to the polls with.

What really annoys me about this Tory PM vote is the 80% of candidates that haven't have a cat in Hells chance of winning.
All they're angling for is publicity and a shout for a cabinet position.
I like the way Ben Wallace conducts himself he's just ruled himself out.
Can't really get fired up about any of them, just possibly Liz Truss because of her Brexit stance.
If I had a bet, I won't, it would be on Sunak.

Sunak I would imagine is most likely to win, I’d prefer someone not tainted by association with Boris personally.

Apparently he commissioned his ‘Ready for Rishi’ web domain in December but the site isn’t active yet.
    His logo is though…….

Are you referring to the people who constantly supported BJ after he cheated, lied, squirmed, switched sides of an argument etc etc yet some thought he could do no wrong?
(I don’t particularly like Rishi btw - just amused at his campaign logo!!)

In all seriousness looking at the Tory candidates I’m changing my mind, they are all shifty, maybe we should have a GE and elect Labour, at least we’d have a Party with honest politicians, and who were competent enough to stick within lock down rules.

If Rishi Sunak gets the vote then it shows the core of the " we want Boris out " have been decieving themselves and the rest of the party ..... doing the sums .... based on why they want a clean break and a clean start then why change Boris? for Rishi?
he has been in the same bed until Javid had his "vision in church " .. and turned Judas!
crunching a few figures assuming the MP's are honest and vote for their candidate starting figure has to be 359 tory....
12 STANDING SO FAR = 263 votes to be cast less than 18 votes = out so saying all got 19 votes minimum 12 x 19 = 131 votes cast amongst rest = about 30 votes for each one .........
but does not work so simply ....... 8 could be left behind after 2 rounds when 36 is minimum votes to continue so 4 has to become 2 = 2 more rounds lowest eliminated ... then PAID UP TORY members get the vote

Sunak is about the only candidate not offering to cut NI and Corporation Tax from the off and hopefully that might count against him along with his Wife’s non dom position
