Doesnt bother me what party she was though, truth is she is now the Tory PM. Parents were labour/.. are labour. :emoticon-0138-thinkWONDER IF THEY CHANGED?:emoticon-0138-think

Wiz HIGHLIGHTS Winston Churchill as being Liberal.. pre 1920 only tory and liberals.
I think the tory party is the only one of the 3 to be the same "party name" ... Labour and Liberals have been "reinvented a few times?"
you can google it if you have doubts ... I have to much to do at present ........

If Starmer & co win a GE then the Tories only have themselves to blame.
Labour have had decades of weak leadership whilst the Tories have been running the country.
If the people think Starmer can do a better job then that says more about the current lot then it does about Starmer himself.
‘Better a jump into the unknown than continue with what we have……’.sounds familiar??

    My view on the above.
Bliar..................... Warmonger. Still won the election that followed the Iraq war, so the country didn’t think that bad of him then. He’s a fool to listen to the Yanks Powell and Bush who were going in regardless.
Brown...................Gold & Pension Robber, kept the country afloat when the banking crisis went on. We was still a rich country to come out of it.
Cameron...............Coward, I’m not a Tory but I liked him. Should of not offered to stand down if Brexit was voted. I think he could have taken us forward.
May.......................Confidence Trickster. Nice women but lamb to the slaughter.
Johnson................Liar & Party Fixer. If he just apologised first of all, things could have been different.

Labour doesn’t have to do much at present , just allow Tory’s to hang themselves, then step in and pick up the pieces.

Just watched Liz Truss, she doesn’t get the reason the markets reacted so badly is due to borrowing to pay for tax cuts for the rich, even Michael Gove made this point, and wouldn’t commit to voting for the budget, these aren’t lefty ministers, they are prominent Tory’s.

When asked how many people had voted for her plans , liz truss was lost for words, she hasn’t been given a mandate by the British people to fundamentally change the approach to the one offered at the last GE.

If the PM doesn’t change her plans the Tory party will implode and Labour will win comfortably at the next election, will she/ they realise in time and ditch this damaging budget, I hope so for the sake of all of us.

Good response but still a very poor mix, believe it or not my preference is Gordon Brown, it would have been BoJo but I hate liars.

If the numbers of Tory MP stick to their principles and don’t vote for the budget and lose the party Wip, the Tory’s won’t hold a parliamentary majority. Now that would be interesting.

Bojo was known to tell lies, so I’m not sure how you can say he’d have been your choice. His entire life was littered with lies, it’s who he is, it’s his character, it would have been a surprise if he hadn’t lied. It’s a bit like saying you like Hitlers politics, but for the fact he persecuted Jews and invaded Europe.

I’m not his greatest fan as PM, but The first thing he did on being appointed chancellor was to make the BOE responsible to interest rates. As opposed to this clown who’s first act was to produce a budget that seen confidence in our country drop through the floor and your defending it <doh><doh>

If you couldn’t see that the financial system was crashing around us at the time, then there is not much hope for you. A huge percentage of countries came out of that period in debt.
