What's the hold up here? Surely they could have had this info ready to go once relegation was confirmed?

Anyone not renewing no matter what?

I can't wait for the frozen prices, which they'll argue is because of the extra games <doh>

We’re going to renew; unless they screw us but I don’t think they will. Same £ as last year but 4 extra games, me thinks.

That will be ****ing shocking if so. Would make us the most expensive in the championship by a country mile

Ah, didn’t realise that. Maybe a small reduction is on the cards then?

As far as I can remember the last time we were relegated the season ticket prices didn't change a lot. We were in a spot of financial bother that may have influenced that though. This will be one of many situations that SR will have to deal with in the coming months and it will be interesting to see how they approach it. The already pissed off fanbase aren't going to appreciate expensive season tickets on top of relegation.

From a basic mathematics view, losing ~£50 from each season ticket holder and then selling 15,000 of them would mean a drop of £750,000 for those 15,000 tickets. Not quite a drop in the ocean for the club but would be a welcome reduction for the fans. Up it to ~£100 (1.5m total) would be a big show of respect to the fans.

Of course, that doesn't take into account other losses (corporate, sponsorship, general ticket sales etc.)

Too much for the level of 'entertainment' given.

Ranged from £400 in cheapest section (Itchen South) to 8-900 in the premium seats for adults.

A mate of mine missed the Chelsea home game this season and worked out he's paid about £150 per point he's seen us get <laugh>

Admittedly I have missed a few games, but I have only seen one win and two draws. I paid about £750 this year for 5 points.

Wouldn’t expect much of a discount tbh. Just looking at my local Championship team (Bristol City) and there’s are 380-700. I’d imagine we would still be more expensive than them

I think they might reduce the central/premium areas and freeze everywhere else - which would be fine imo as long as current holders get a decent renewal.

I just don't see them selling many premium seats at the current prices. Need to be careful too as if they price poorly and don't start well we'll end up with sub 20k crowds for some midweek matches.

My guess would be that they are probably delaying until after the announcement of Selles going and Martin coming in. That might just give a few more people hope, and therefore invest in a season ticket.
