It's attack Vs defence, hit the woodwork twice and had their keeper in all kinds of trouble twice, if we hadn't already conceded this would be basically ideal. Stroud has been very card happy, 3 yellows to Hull already.
Could easily have been 3 up, but our finishing is awful. Poor defending again cost us the goal, but we should win this. Can't see Hull scoring, unless we help them again
Gibson given an error on whoscored for their goal. I thought Duffy caused the problem by giving him the ball in a bad spot.
That's honestly one of the most dominant halves I've seen from us in a while, pleased Rowe could even it up. I think what's refreshing is that the system is clearly working. Our press has created opportunities and won the ball high, whilst we've largely played out from their press without concerns (with one major exception). Both full backs have threatened, particularly Giannoulis although Stacey could/should have scored. Sara excellent, McLean doing his job. If I was being picky, Barnes hasn't been super involved and Onel has been wasteful, Gibson on a booking doesn't inspire confidence with the way Stroud is reffing. Would be surprised to see Nunez, Fassnacht and Omobamidele replace those three at some point.
According to the commentary, Gibson and Duffy had swapped position when the mix up occurred. What was that about?
They were caught too close together, Duffy either tried to know it last Gibson toward Hin or over hit the pass into Gibsons shins who was unable to gather control
I’m not sure our finishing has been awful, rather we have been unfortunate. The keeper made a great save from Sarges header, couple of efforts hit the post and a few rushed/poor efforts
