That’s $2.60 litre or $10.40 per US gallon - just think about that next time you fill up your 5 litre v8
I grumble now it's $3.50 a gallon over here. ... But it's all relative because it was under a $1 a gallon in the 90s so over 350% price increase since I've been driving is a significant change. Can still usually fill up for under $35 though because my little 4 cylinder honda only has a 10 gallon tank. A few years ago it was about $20 to fill up the tank. I average about 35mpg, used to get more but my car is old now. So a $35 tank lasts me almost a week when working in the office. (Long commute).
Next car I have an eye on is a hybrid truck, waiting for order banks for 23 model year to open. It's 40mpg (but I always get better mileage than what's official when I drive, so hoping 45mpg). Truck very useful where I live now. Sad it only comes in automatic though. Not looking forwards to giving up my manual transmission.

I'm sure it wont stop there My estimated bill for next month is yet another £30 higher, so thats £80 so far. I am sure it wont stop at that either.... ****ing rip off energy companies, posting record profits while everyone else pays through the nose
****ing hell! Its ridiculous. They shouldnt be allowed to get away with that ****. That surely has doubled in price? You couldnt have been paying more than £150 a month for gas and electricity Thats scandalous
Was £130 at the start of the year, went up to £290 around March/April but dropped to £260 in June because I'd turned the heating off (was working from thermostat). Looking at my smart meter and app, I'm still over paying but any credit built up will help come October / January.
Obviously had the £150 from council (towards council tax) in April and I know about the £400 towards electricity (I'll get an extra £650 on top because I claim child tax credits) but what is the £150 in September?
I was being sarcastic. I think everyone gets different amounts based on their income and what benefits they claim. I think I am only entitled to £150 because my income is "too high" even though I only earn around 55k a year depending on bonuses. But cos I am registered disabled I get £150 in September

. You'd have to be crazy to bet on Liverpool when the odds are only 28/1 at this stage of the season. 100/1 would seem more reasonable for us now.
And yet both of us are miles off. Utd are closer than us and 50/1 There.must be a shed load of idiots betting on us holding those odds down.
