Platinni has tried to make football less about cash and fairer. That obviously brings him under fire from the media here much connected to and financed by Murdoch and co. Football in England is all about money. Look at owners of PRO clubs clubs dodgy? Abramovich?? Is that about football or protecting himself v Putin? It's certainly based on obscene amonuts of money.
Simply money- All levels of England football internationally are poor at present-How seriously are we taking it now or has the Champions league taken over?- Easy to see why a more traditional venue was not chosen when there is so much apathy towards international football today
England is no position to point the finger at EUFA or FIFA. Look at the state of the game here. That would not be acceptable in Germany or the Netherlands. The state of youth development is seemingly inferior to any other comparative national FA.
Platini was a fabulous player but as head of UEFA, he is an arrogant anti-English twat. He dislikes everything about England. I have to take my hat off to him for trying to introduce financial fair play but that was before the Arabs acquired PSG and pumped boat loads of cash into it. If The French league had become what the Premier League is and it's clubs doing well in the Champions League, I'm sure he would have done nothing.
