My thoughts precisely. Neymar looked like a player who just wanted everything for himself. There was no passing and moving, the first goal wouldn’t have happened if Vini hadn’t taken the ball off him!! He’s a liability at times. Undoubtedly talented but absolutely greedy as hell

We have seen a team on the verge of brilliance in my opinion tonight. Stunning at times. Improvements to come. I understand the comments about Europe being the same, but I am too pissed to respond, but I disagree. I will debate that tomorrow.

My eldest came home from work in the first half with in his words a lovely bottle of red for dad to enjoy his lifetime love with. I have to admit it is quite lovely, but is from Argentina! Bloody muppet. That is gone and the malt is on. The good news is he is enjoying the style.

Good night folks. End of the round 1 of games. Still think we are heading for Brazil v England final.

Goal of the tournament so far <laugh>

He had 3 weeks to pick his spot and the defender turned his back.

    Great athleticism but poor defending.

They will probably beat them 7-0 and highlight the fact we conceded 2

Would love this to be correct, but I cannot see Brazil rising above this performance

Yes, but you have to remember, starting Harry Maguire is, effectively, giving the opposition a 2 goal cushion!!

That was ridiculous and then checking his lips for blood when it was nowhere near his gob in the first place

It's embarrassing and pathetic the way modern footballers fall over these days. I know it's simply an effort to win a free kick, but when they stay down, slapping the turf, waving their hands to the physio or checking for blood, then you see the replay and there was no contact. It's disgusting and it's getting worse

Wales half asleep here. Similar to England 1999-2016 they've just rocked up and expected the opposition to roll over.
