Yes, but what does he do when he does cut inside? I can't imagine him e.g. combining with Dowell and Sargent in the way Sinani did for Sargent's first goal vs. Millwall. Milot's combination play is far more limited -- chiefly "give and go". I.E. anything but Tod-like when he does come infield.
So Stoke sack their manager, and Alex Neil is apparently the most likely candidate to replace him, with rumours he could be announced tomorrow? That would make for a different game Vs Sunderland.
In terms of high profile management, I would rate Sunderland way above Stoke. And its nearer to Scotland
As well as drawing with Bayern they also beat Hoffenheim, both teams are above them in the table. Their other draw came against Schalke
Meanwhile our match tomorrow against Birmingham will be a test because of their 3 strong CBs and Ruddy in goal, all of whom have high ratings so far. In attack it's a different story as Placheta is their highest rated attacking player (7.0) and he's not eligible. Next highest is 6.7 and the rest are around 6.5 or below which suggests they're likely to defend and counterattack so we'll need to be patient as the first goal will be critical.
So with 7 games done the top of the table begins to take shape with the 4 top teams the most likely candidates for automatic promotion.
That is some difference, but he still did not get in the team of the month. Robbie will explore when he sees this graph.
The graph has four quadrants and the top right one contains the best headers of the ball. The horizontal axis charts Aerial Duals won per 90 minutes and the vertical axis charts the percentage of aerial duals won. Hanley averages around 6 aerial duals per match and wins around 95% of them, which is exceptional. The reason he only averages 6 duals per match is because opposing teams avoid him by pushing their strikers out wide to compete with Aarons rather than him. By comparison, Omobamidele only averages 4.5 aerial duals per game for the same reason and his percentage won out of those is only just over 60% compared to Hanley's 95%, suggesting that Grant is a much better header of the ball than Andy. It's only one statistic, but it suggests that Hanley is by far the best header of the ball in the Championship. Hope that helps Bure. Working it out helped me.
Sheffield Utd beating Hull today moves us back to second, one point behind them. Burnley and Watford both drew, so we're now 3 points ahead of both of them, though Reading move up to third with a win today and Bristol City also leapfrog Burnley and Watford. That makes our game at Burnley Friday night even more important.
The form table also makes good reading. Watford are currently down in 12th position with 6 points from 5 games.
