Its as simple as it says,

Pick your 3 most likely to go down and why. Lets see if anyone gets it right.

    My 3 are:

Southampton: no fight, no goals. They've picked a manager who hasn't worked so the roll of the dice has already been made.

Bournemouth: might be a tight shout but again sacked manager early and never bothered getting anyone in after interim worked a little. Worst defence and <1 goal a game suggests they are bang in trouble.

Leeds: Just sacked the man hired to organise them 12 months ago and have no clue who to go for. Anything could happen. Only saving grace is they can score a few goals.

I am voting to save everton as i think dyche will scrap for thier lives or kick the **** out of their players himself. they will get better at the back and that will just be enough imo.

Man City relegated due to rule breaking, otherwise saving Everton from the drop in a bittersweet moment.

I've gone for Southampton, Bournemouth because I think they will actually go down. The third choice was harder so I've gone for who I'd like to go down which is West Ham.

well things have move on a touch now and the bottom five shall we say are looking slightly detached form the rest.

I hesitate to think no club will freefall from here though. theres usually one.

    • Southampton are not manageress and on 15 points which is not dead but its a terribel place to start from.
    • Bournemouth look very short of goals but got a draw last weekend. 2 draws in 5 games uts them on 18.
    • Everton had their bounce with arsenal and shocked everyone then returned to type. 18 points and also short of goals.
    • Then comes leeds. They've got rid of manager and draw form a winning position and then lost from drawing position v man utd. Not awful but it leaves them in a relegation dogfight and a massive 6 pointer coming up. v everton. 19 points and clearly in danger
    • Finally west ham who continue to be pretty dire compared to where they could be. on 20 poitns only and a long way form safety.

Wolves have shot out of it by beating fellow strugglers Liverpool and Southampton. on 23 so starting to gap to the bottom 3. woeful outfit though.

Forest are sitting on 24 having had a great time of it for randomly buying players and having total chaos.

Leicester under rodgers sit on 24 having beaten spurs by a trouncing from nowhere.

these 3 are the most obvious death spiral clubs who need about 10/12 more points form 16 games.

    the most popular choices were

    Southampton
    Bournemouth
    Leeds.

right now west ham are int here with a game in hand and Leicester are plummeting towards the drop.

Villa are safe. Nobody else is now.

    My current view is:

Palace are really unimpressive. They are absolutely sliding down todays the bottom and that 0-0 we put in at thier place was awful from us.
Wolves are climibing steadily hand have enough about them to get to 37 points (1ppg) easily
forst are utter **** away from home and not great att home now. they are at risk.
Everton are wildly inconsistent but again can get to 35 points ok, just based on random 0-0 and 1-0 results.
Leicester are in this up to their necks. their form and commitment is ****. they have slept through transfer windows and the times to get shut of rodgers. I'd have little faith in them pulling togehter and scrapping.
West ham - so inconsistent. they have no business being down there. pleyers have let the fans down badly here
Bournemouth - **** but fighting. bad at defending and we were bloody awful against them and just out muscled.
Leeds - slip sliding to the bottom
Southampton - fighting but are ****

Its really for me a case of who wants it most cos theres a lot of sides who've no business down there but are not performing.

Southampton should go but anything could happen
Bournemouth IMO will go. they are dross
Its one of leeds and palace and leicester potentially

One point above the drop isn't much for them! Their saving grace is all those teams below them. They would need three of them to screw up worse than them to drop out and the season is coming to the ending stretch.

Totally impossible to predict who will drop, they're probably going to just hold on again, but I'm sure none of them are sleeping well at night.

12th down have to look over their shoulders. It's a large group less than three points above the drop.

things seem to have moved on quite substantially.

Leicester are seemingly intent if getting relegated.

Southampton have fathoms of water above their heads as they sink.

forest can only play at home and at that struggle

and Everton are Everton. we will be faced with a second successive season where an ffp breaking club (same club) escapes relegation by a couple of points with no punishment applied.

Leeds are just hovering above the mess.

    Bournemouth continue their escape.

West ham are only a game away from disaster and have more games than anyone to play.

Based on past results yes and the theoretical safety points level.

Hypothetically though, if we lost every remaining game, every team below us could theoretically still get enough points still to overtake us... Even Southampton.

Although obviously, the teams below us still have a lot of games between themselves to play, so not every team below us could get maximum points, even in a hypothetical world... I'm too lazy to do the maths to see if we can still be relegated if every single result went against us.
