RIP Ray <rose>
A real stalwart of the game although I remember giving him a dose of the verbals at St Helens when he refused to bring his Leicestershire side back out after rain when Glammy were in a winning position.

Neath born Brian Rees has sadly passed away. An accomplished surgeon Brian got three caps for Wales in 1967 including the game against France below. Brian is far left in appropriately the front row as he was a hooker. RIP <rose>

I’m saddened to read this - had the pleasure of being introduced to Brian by Brian Thomas in the Players’ Room after the Cardiff v Neath match at the Arms Park in 1997.

RIP <rose>
