Former Australia batsman Dean Jones has died at the age of 59. Jones passed away in Mumbai, where he was working as a commentator on television coverage of the Indian Premier League. Stylish in the middle-order, Jones played 52 Tests from 1984 to 1992, averaging 46.55 and winning the Ashes on two occasions. He was also part of the Australia team that won the World Cup in 1987, beating England in a thrilling final. In his 164 one-day internationals, Jones averaged 44.61. He is perhaps best remembered for his innings of 210 in the tied match between Australia and India in 1986. RIP
