Sara Chapman, BBC Sports presenter Mark Chapman’s wife tragically died at the age of 44 on Wednesday surrounded by her family. Mark, 46, and Sara married in 2000 and they have three children together, aged 17, 12 and six. RIP
Manchester United's European Cup-winning full-back Tony Dunne has died, aged 78. Dunne was part of the United side who beat Benfica 4-1 at Wembley in 1968. The Irishman, who joined United as an 18-year-old in 1960, played 535 first-team matches for the club, putting him eighth on their all-time appearance list. He won the FA Cup in 1963 and was part of Matt Busby's title-winning squads in 1965 and 1967. RIP
Welsh singer Ricky Valance has died at the age of 84, his agent has confirmed. Valance, who was born David Spencer, became the first Welshman to have a solo UK Number One hit with the song Tell Laura I Love Her in 1960. The singer was born in Ynysddu, now in Caerphilly county, and joined the RAF aged 17 before going into the music business. His agent said he had been diagnosed with dementia and had been in hospital since before the start of lockdown. RIP
