Think the bbc said 1935 ?!
Correct

However, if the exit poll is correct, Jeremy Corbyn’s election performance will be the worst by a Labour leader for more than 40 years. He will have done worse than:
Tony Blair in 1997 - 418
Tony Blair in 2001 - 412
Tony Blair in 2005 - 355
Neil Kinnock in 1992 - 271
James Callaghan in 1979 - 269
Jeremy Corbyn in 2017 - 262
Gordon Brown in 2010 - 258
Ed Miliband in 2015 - 232
Neil Kinnock in 1987 - 229
Michael Foot in 1983 - 209
In fact, it would be the worst result for Labour since 1935, when the party got just 154 under Clement Attlee, who has only just taken over as party leader.

Well if the Exit Polls are right, Bonko has won.

Those Labour MPs from leave voting constituencies who blocked T May's Brexit deal have helped put Bonko in again

Corbyn was photographed walking to a local polling station in his London constituency of Islington North. A woman dressed as the bright red Sesame Street character Elmo tried to rush towards him, but was firmly pinned back by his security detail.

Problem with Elmo's plan was she just wasn't quick enough. Needed a Trabant.
Would have been better off in a Wartburg. They were faster.

I bet there’s a substantial shift away from labour in our area.

I'm wondering how many voters they'll lose to the double whammy of people like me who have always voted labour but I don't want/trust Corbyn and I voted leave. Was looking at last elections numbers for Darlington, where I am and Jenny Chapman beat the Tory lad by 3,280 votes. 52% voted to leave in the referendum so it would only take a few thousand traditional Labour voters to go for the one hit wonders The Brexiteering Party for the Tories to get in. I'm thinking there's a good chance that could happen.

Jarrow has forecast Labour holds the seat :emoticon-0121-angry

Houghton & Sunderland South predicting a Labour hold but with a 12% Tory swing.

Champagne on ice. Hoping to pop it about 2.30am when it's looking beyond doubt
