Hope the poll on here reflects the result on December 13 please Lord

Unlucky 13 for buffoon Boris

Unfortunately Hank, Sunderland is traditionally Labour, so anything but an absolute landslide on a poll like this is bad for Labour in general across the country in my opinion. They need to start winning seats back in Scotland to win a majority again I think.

On a serious note by the look of things on here the country is broke and well and truly up the swanny under the conservatives so where is Jeremy getting all the money to do everything he’s promising?

Voted lib dem in the poll, its the only realistic alternative to the sitting tory mp in my constituency, not fused with either party but can't have that useless twat winning round here again

Well he's not spending the £20bn on cutting taxes for rich people that the Conservatives are planning so that's a start.

Taxing the richest 5% more and increasing Corporation tax will also be important.

There are plenty of economic models that suggest spending your way out of a recession is actually the best way to stimulate the economy. Putting higher wages in the pockets of the poorer people increases their spending power and helps the economy grow.

But most importantly, after the Conservatives proving for 10 years that they can't turn the country around, why would you want to let them have another 5 years at it?

Did you miss boris and friends stopping brexit in March, which did not suit their own benefit, something you accuse corbyn of doing?

have you missed the 17000 deaths after being declared fit to work by Tory party and a private company

did you miss the top 1% having 90% of the countries money?

have you overlooked the 1000% increase in food bank use

have you chosen to ignore the millions in work having to go to food banks and claim benefit?

is there one sector in this country that has improved since 2010?

How do you feed the people using the food banks?...

Corbyns idea is to tax the rich more. What that will actually do, is drive the rich out of country, and stave off new potential investors.

Once the investors and the billionaires have gone, so will the millions of jobs that they provide for the people of this country.

And when the jobs go, guess what?... More people on food banks.

What a fantastic plan.

I was going to vote Lib Dem but having read the Lyle Taylor thread over the road now I’m staunch Labour. The fact the Tories have managed to gaslight people from one of the poorest cities in the country into thinking they should be the ones to bear the tax burden is utterly ridiculous and I’m ashamed that some people from Sunderland think that way.

As a Labour supporter I will probably vote for them... as I think Bonko is awful and the current scottish libdem leader is a liar.

However I do not like Corbyn... and I reckon a lot of voters in labour held areas will hold their noses and vote Farage

I’ve just read the story and it’s a complete non story. They paid no tax because there’s £1.7 million of losses from previous years to carry forward. It’s literally written in law that you can reduce profits in future years using losses made in earlier years.

Another company doing the same thing would no doubt be called a 'tax dodger' by Corbyn
