What is this obsession with the past ?
Any society, club, organisation or even country has to be condemned foreverfor its previous incarnations.
To condemn todays working people, the sick and infirm to CONTINUE to be ignored and ill-treated by a present government of social sadist - - - because the alternative party was crap/useless (whatever adjective suits) 40 50 & 60 years ago.
ffs the Vikings should then be taken to the war crimes court using such warped logic.

This is genuine question. Do you really believe that Corbyn will deliver on his promises? Manifestos aren't legally binding and his willingness to backtrack on a career long stance of Euroscepticism as soon he got a whiff of the leadership surely suggests that he'd be just as willing to forget the pre-election promises he made.
Is he ABLE to deliver on his promises if he does try to keep them? Where will the money come from for all this free stuff he says he's going to give? Taxation of the highest earners will only get him so far and in a lot of cases, harsher tax laws will only push people and businesses to relocate or to look for further loopholes.
Some of the Labour Party's manifesto points are admirable, yes. I just don't see how you can believe that many of them are achievable or how you can trust Corbyn.
I understand folks genuine concerns BUT these are concerning the past.

They've already stated more power to the unions, again. That should terrify everybody in this country.

Took women children out of mines,
Children out of factories.
Driving force behind education for working class children.
Shorter more humane working week.
Dust free and safe mining environment.
Strength for workers against rich non-caring owners.
Force behind NHS
ETC, etc, etc.
Now I know the record has same/many black spots but compared to
1/ the list above
2/ 10yrs of cuts to Police
Fire fighters
School funding (only in labour areas mainly)
Health Service -ALL AREAS WITHIN IT. All which are in the NOW.

I haven't said that he is. I've said repeatedly that I think that Boris is awful. I also think Corbyn is awful. What is it about him that makes you believe that he'll keep his promises? I can't see any reason to trust him.

I hate replying to this one mate but yes it can get worse I remember no electric, no bins emptied only being allowed to work three days a week no trains and bodies piled high in mortuaries Oh! The only way to end violence is by dialogue. They did it in S. Africa, even the man I despise Blair ended it in N. Ireland. The Korean conflict ended around a table.
Don’t just blindly follow the Tory script - JC was one of the few (very few) who saw through the dust thrown up by Bush & Blair.
He won’t send good men to die for oil.
