Yet again, you appear to miss the point which was that governments only have money to spend because they've taken it in tax. Nowhere did I remotely suggest that taxation wasn't a necessity - I only pointed out to our commie friend where the cash comes from.
He's actually a long time respected poster on here but I agree politics brings out the rude nasty side of his character.
At least he’s got a plan. Even Corbin admits he hasn’t got a clue what he’s going to do. Who can vote for a man without a plan?
I would argue that Labour has no choice but to spend because the conservatives cut public services back to the bone. If you're going back as far as the 70's lets not forget Thatcher's absolute contempt for the working classes of this country. Austerity was based on the myth that what caused the national debt was high public spending when in fact it was a global financial crisis. The idea that they had no choice is nonsense. If they had no choice, why are they now promising to spend on hospitals, police etc (which they haven't bothered to cost at all by the way), when the national debt is worse than it ever was when they came into power? If having a tight grip on public finances is so important, why are the conservatives spending £8bn on tax cuts for people earning over £50k a year? This is after Osborne took £8.6bn out of the public coffers by reducing the taxation rate in 2013. The IFS has also said that under Conservative leadership, the poor have been hurt twice as badly as the rich financially. It is their ideology to strip back the state and give the money back to the wealthy.
Not for the first time you appear to contradict yourself. Maybe you need to re-learn the Corbyn text book (never pin your colours to any mast), instead of clearly showing yourself as a McDonnell sycophant, who (at least) had the 'balls' to admit he's a Marxist. Are you prepared to do the same?
I haven't contradicted myself at all. I'm also not "clearly" a McDonnell supporter. Not for the first time, you've tried to discredit the poster rather than debate the points. Come to think of it, that's a typical Tory tactic. Maybe you've pinned your colours to a mast as well.

Especially as I emboldened the text in your latest post where you've done exactly that!

Your confusing me with Boris mate, we are very different kettles, as usual its the offensive ones making the accusations, standard Tory policy.. But thanks for the plug.
Nothing about the emboldened text is contradictory.[/QUOTE] If you can't see the contradiction then you need to improve your grasp of the English language! Your self pitying (I'm being attacked because of who I am, rather than what I post) puts me in mind of three RTG posters - Suicide Steve, Phil 3000/0 and SBC, which one are you?

If you'd care to explain what you think is contradictory, I'll explain to you why it isn't. I'm not ant of those posters by the way, I've never been anyone but myself. I know exactly which poster you were on other boards by the way, your attempts to be condescending to others are obvious a mile off.
Please don't attribute whatever your twisted mind thinks as appropriate for yourself, on fiscal matters, applies to others.
Ah so it's just about Brexit for you. Corbyn has a clear plan for Brexit by the way, if you care to read it. What's Johnson's plan for running the country for the next 5 years? What about his plan do you think is better than the Labour policy? How do you feel about the possible risk to the NHS of a trade deal with the USA?

I've highlighted the contradiction TWICE, but you expect me to do it again? I'll be very surprised if you aren't one of the three RTG posters I named. As an aside, I've posted my RTG user name on here more than once so Sherlock Holmes you are not!
You haven't. You've stated something is contradictory that isn't and rather than explain your opinion so we can have a discussion, you've attempted to belittle me instead. I'm not sure what your obsession is with suggesting posters are in fact other posters on another board or what you get out of it. But I'm none of the people you've suggested.
Do you now expect me to teach you the basics of the English language? It would, certainly, appear so. How that sits with someone who wishes to portray himself as a 'Super Hero' I will leave others to judge!
