Theres been some good individual performances so far, with the bat Morgan, Bairstow, Smith, Walner, Roy, Rohit, the Bangladeshi lad, Root. Archer looks great with the ball.

My Mrs went to India -Pakistan at the weekend. Her first cricket match ever - she says she wont be going to any more. Boring. Spent all her time texting me.

It was no contest, shame because Pakistan can beat anyone 'on their day'. Why weren't you there Jak?

I am back in Jakarta working. She got a hospitality ticket through a company she has been doing some work for.

She is out here end next week and we are off to Flores the following week. Never been and it looks superb. Like Whitley Bay with sunshine and wildlife.

The Mrs told him to meet her at Old Trafford and he spent four hours wondering why nobody had turned up for the match.

Ok my son I'm going to try a different approach.

I was merely having a little banter I didn't realise it was so upsetting and your abusive comments were very untimely.

Let's shake hands and learn from this.

I'm sure you're a decent lad and know you shouldn't have said the things you did.

Agreed, in Williamson they have a match winner. He is the quickest-ever batsman to 1,000 runs in ODIs in England. I saw that final six coming a mile off. Mind, SA didn't half make it hard for themselves with some shocking fielding <laugh>
