So bury still can't fulfill their obligations to the football league and have their 4th game of the season suspended, this is getting beyond a joke now and the Efl are doing feck all about it.bury are only in this situation because of overspending over a few seasons ,they were paying top wages and couldn't afford it and got promoted unfairly and now are pleading poverty .well I'm sorry but it's time they were kicked out of the league like other clubs have been in the past.
An update on all this steve dale bought bury for a pound and wants 5 million now to get out how ridiculous is that .
There was a write up in the Mail this week about Bury according to the report the previous owner was as bad one player was on £10,000 a week, Sheff Utd came in to sign the player & could not afford his wages. Also this new owner has never been involved in football & that's why he bought the club to make a profit.
I listened to their owner on talk sport earlier and they had the owner and one of their players on there arguing ,the player said he hadn't been paid for ages and was under threat if the club folds he would lose his house and the owner said basically that he was lying and he'd been paid something ain't right and it all points to the owner but the cold hard facts are bury were overspending to get promoted and now they want help to survive. Put it this way I wouldn't buy a 3 million pounds mansion knowing that I couldn't afford it ffs.I'm sorry but they deserve to get kicked out of the league .
3 home games 3 wins, (9 scored, 5 conceded) - 3 away games 3 draws (1 scored, 1 conceded). Not a bad start but we have had (supposedly) easy games. Interesting that we are slight favs to beat Lincoln
I want to know where all this money is coming from for getting all these players in .perhaps guy can enlighten us as to the situation. I like it that we are doing so well but I hope it's not a chasing the holy grail Situation get promoted win or bust
I doubt very much is there is an objective to win promotion this season based on what was said at the meeting with the prospective new owner. Doing well would be great. I'm still waiting to hear when the change of ownership will be confirmed, if indeed it will be, and whether the terms have changed now we are fully committed. Why is it taking so long? Or has it happened?
You do have to be careful Yeovil spent a season in the championship & look where they are now. To me it looks like Burton got it right managed to spend a couple of seasons in the championship yes they struggled, they have come back down & holding their own.
It was only one season they beat Brentford 2-1 in the play-off final in the 2012-2013 season, they played Championship 2013-2014, six years later playing National League
Right now boys and girls, don't tell Rocky whatever you do but Colchester beat that "other team" (don't mention Spurs for christ sake) on penalties this evening in the EFL Cup. He's gonna go ballistic if he finds out...............
I watched the Pompey v Saints apart from the the first 15-20mins when they had 3 chances they were well beaten
I see after last nights results Chesterfield are 5pts adrift of safety in the National League, (there but the grace of god)
Can't think Phil. They're doing quite well in L2, only 2 points off the play off places. We won't hear from him again until we get relegated and/or they get promoted and manage to get above us (most unlikely though, being a NL team)
