That's a shocking decision from the third umpire. It was bat on pad, not an inside edge. The ball doesn't change direction. Would have been out too. Kohli given a life by ineptitude from the third umpire. The England players were fuming.
When you see it straight on it definitely looks like it's missed the bat. The third umpire was confused by the ultra-edge showing a spike before the ball hit the pad, but as you say, it was bat on pad. Really hope the match doesn't turn on that bad decision.
England strong favourites now, but as long as Kohli is there, I reckon India are in with a shout (he should be out of course!).
