I took it for what it was, it was obvious hyperbole, which is why I called him Falstaff on numerous occasions and I largely agree that in the main it was harmless. However, on occasion it was more barbed particularly towards certain posters and then he fiercely defended the hyperbole when cornered, and gave it large, then asked for bans lol.

It’d have all been a storm in a tea cup if some bell end hadn’t started a thread with pics, not that many saw it I don’t think, as brb removed it quickly as I understand it.

Interesting, so you found out who he was and coincidentally several other people all found out at the same time and they were not brought up as well as you and decided to share them. I get why Sucky shared them, cause it seemed like more of you knew the details than us who didn't. But amazingly you kept your high moral stance (which we've all witnessed to fair) and kept your info quiet. Chin chin rub rub.

A few people have expressed the exact same statement.

With Skiddy, you know exactly what you are getting. With Pix, some people were taken in by some kind of charm. I always saw through it.

Perhaps, now, people will appreciate just how patient I have been with Pix.

Sure, there was the odd jibe (the "masturbating monkey" one being undoubtedly my crowning achievement, and which probably set Pix off down the path that eventually had him rummaging around in my dustbins), but that is nothing compared with the constant personal attacks and insults I have had to suffer."

Everybody took it for what it was, hence calling out the bullshit. HIAG and his backers want to claim it was all simply a wind up, but HIAG got particularly nasty and angry when he got called out on some of it. Threatening legal action and demanding bans.

Like I said, some people want to make out that he’s an innocent victim in all of this, but he’s stirred his own **** pot as far as I’m concerned.

I hate bullies, and have stood up to them all my life. That is why I am still here. The fact of the matter is that the people who went digging around in my dustbins found nothing of any real note, and anything they did discover (outside of the obvious bollocks that I spouted on this board, which was clear and obvious hyperbole) would have found nothing more than a picture of a family man whose loves his kids, is educated and living a fairly comfortable life, engaging in his passions. So, they found a photo of me wearing a kids Halloween witches hat with fake hair on it, which I put on for a joke to make my (then) 5 year old laugh, and a photo of my wife wearing a "mugger with big ears" mask, again, taken to amuse our son.

Wow! Congratulations. You must all feel so very proud of yourselves.

My concern is that this having set a precedent, someone gets hold of personal information on someone extremely vulnerable, or someone who really did have something very personal to them that they wished to hide.

Think of something that you have dear to your heart that you share only with a few loved ones, and imagine someone like Skiddy getting his hands on that information and arranging it so that it can be plastered all over this board for people to laugh and sneer at.

How would that make you feel?

I have to say in the outside world the word **** is an absolute no no for me, only if I'm very angry would I use it. On here I use it all the time. I moaned to brb one time (ages ago) about the use of the word nonce (iirc) and he, quite rightly, told me that worse is said in football grounds and to stop being precious about it. Since then I have different standards about what is used.
