They have a bearing on qualification for the Euros.
They are a massive improvement on the ****ty, substitute riddled friendlies of the past.

Why did you say it was a friendly then?

Because it is. A friendly with a very serious moniker to stop people calling it a friendly.

Just watched the highlights. That was never a legitimate tackle by Farrell at the end.

Did they review that tackle on video? If yes and they concluded it was legitimate then I clearly need to brush up on the rules of rugby, because it looked like a clear penalty and a card to me. Glad he got away with it though.

It was reviewed, so it wasn't a penalty. Anyone still in doubt let me remind you we were playing South Africa at rugby, the dirtiest, cheating team of all time, no penalty.

Must be on the edge of what is acceptable. Hell of a risk though at that late stage of the game. If Farrell had wrapped his right arm around a bit more for optics, the tackle would have been just as severe with less risk of being penalised.

Most "experts" in the game seem to think it was borderline.
Nice to see England coming out on the right side of one of those for a change.

Shame they got their 7 points before half time. Still, it is New Zealand!!

That's the best England first half since Jones's early days.
England are just being a little sloppy now. Must tighten up till the break.

All Blacks showing their bottle at the end of a great first half. 15-10 perhaps flattering NZ but they got the reward for declining an easy 3 points, they will turn the screw in the 2nd half for sure. England need to start the 2nd half like the 1st...

Attack is the best form of defence against the AB's. England need to go for it in the 2nd half
