Bloody hell this is right. I hope Farrell’s Penalty Miss isn’t decisive. England have been great at denying Ireland useful possession.

And now we get another try.......if the TMO agrees

    And he does! Get in!

Another poachers try as Ireland have to go for it, bonus point for England and the best performance from them for years. Absolutely outstanding.

Me neither, totally unexpected, and quite brilliant. Ireland looked a bit undercooked, but the constant pressure England put them under really stopped them playing.

Cracking win for England, a great start to World Cup year and a tactical masterclass from Eddie Jones. Perhaps Ireland were a little too confident but they were well beaten today...

Some great individual performances today. May, Slade, Knowles in attack and no weak links in defence. Huge win to start the Six Nations 2019

Rugby is a much better game than football, and especially cricket.

    Today at least.

Yeah but why does every set piece need to take two minutes?

    Congrats gents.
Superb performance and very well deserved.
The English line speed, tenacity in defence and dominance in the air was telling.
First time in 3 years we saw a close to full strength English team.

I hope Schmidt uses this defeat to bring them back to earth. To many of our top players didn’t answer the call.

    Well done

Scotland v Ireland should be a cracker, strong wind could make it difficult but I fancy Scotland might spring a surprise today...

The wind is wild out here on the west coast today. It was so bad at Murrayfield yesterday that they had to take away the inflatable Guiness tent as it nearly blew away, carrying the six fellas who were trying to tie it down <laugh> there'll be a lot of sad Irishmen through there having to drink pishy Tennants instead <laugh>
