WTF? The lad's technique is one of the best in the world, I can understand why you wouldn't want him with regards to his attitude or commitment levels, but what he lacks there is more than made up with his ability. Currently we have utter chod like Jesse Lingard getting regular games, so to suggest he's not good enough for United is just nuts imo.
Rumours are that you are pissed off at the Perisic delay and and might pull out of the transfer to focus your attention on Federico Bernardeschi - imo he is the guy you should be signing.
If he did it every game then yes. He doesn't. Anderson and Nani were good for a half a dozen games a season. That isn't good enough.
Well if Real Madrid are holding out for £80m-£90m I doubt we'll ever see the lad in a United top. With regards to that stupid rumour that Levy wants £200m for Kane, if that's even a bit true then I'd fully expect Harry Kane to be on the phone to him this morning asking to be made the highest paid player on the planet.
We should just go for Willian, forget about these two. Willian being kept out of the side by Moses ffs, I'd be livid.
There's only a select few who do though, the media darling Kante being prime example. Attacking players rarely turn up every game, but the amount of chances Ozil created, assists and goals in the PL, I'd say is better than anything we had last season other than Ibrahimovic. In an ideal world, yeah he'd graft his bollocks off but I think his weakness wouldn't be exposed half as much in a team that knows how to defend and keep the ball, Arsenal don't, they're weak from front to back.
Matic? he's not done so badly for the chavs. he could do quite well for us as a replacement for Carrick if JM gets him to peform at his optimum. A central midfiled of Herrera, Matic and Pogba looks rather appetising. All we need now is a ruthless goal poacher: Kane anyone?
I wouldn't be disappointed at all if he left, especially for 40M. I guess he set such high standards after how good he was in the first season for us and it hasn't really happened since. Good player but he doesn't do anywhere near enough in a game to be worth 40M imo.
Good point. That's why I said if he performed at his best. I think it is all about what the buying team is missing and what the sellers already have. Clearly as Fabregas is around, Matic could be surplus to requirement for the chavs. But it is obvious that United need a replacement for Carrick and if he could do half as well he may be worth it. No player that United buy will be worth the money. They ALWAYS have to pay 50%-100% premium for the players they want.
