If Mourinho doesn't trust young players, and there may be a slight element of truth to it, would we really spend 100million Euros on an 18 year old and sideline Rashford and martial in the process? Really? I very much doubt it. When we buy a striker this summer it will be a finished article in their mid twenties at their peak. I quite like the sound of Lacazette now if I'm honest.
Fazackerley Having said that, the latest odds on us signing VVD were 1/10 (citeh 11/2) and betting has now been suspended. So looks like he's going to citeh
The latest from a solid source: Real Madrid and united have agreed to do a swap of Bale and De Gea. With £15 million on top. Sounds a good deal to me.
**** that, Bales crocked and has hardly played in the last two seasons. Keep de Gea and offer them the £15m for Bale.
New Ronaldo as he was or a Ronaldo as he is? As in, a centre forward. Could happen, Bale straight through the middle, he's certainly got the ability. The ankle issues are a concern though, once your ankle is ****ed, it's ****ed. If he stayed fit he's a genuinely great player.
These young players need to develop at their original club before these big clubs go on scrambling for them. As someone mentioned earlier, at that age, their heads is still not exactly right. Even with C. Ronaldo, I think he truly sees Fergie as his football father. Without the duty of mentoring them appropriately while allowing them to develop freely, it can always go either way and we've seen that with so many young players.
Mouriniho is an absolute legend in Portugal - Sanches might see him as his football father already and reports are that Ronaldo is encouraging the move as well. This could work out brilliantly for you - his disappointment at Bayern could mean him knuckling down and becoming the great player that he is predicted to become.
