Something a bit 'meh' about Lukaku for me at United, can't put my finger on it, is he a big game player maybe? £100m as well, I reckon we could get Lewandowski for that.
Is probably the best fit for you though - you play with a lone striker and he is adept at playing that position. He is only 24 and has over 50 caps so is probably is used to playing in big games. Just claim Rooney is worth £60M and get him for a swap deal and more realistic fee.
I'm surprised nobody is advocating you go for Harry Kane. Just offer Spurs £70m for a proven PL 20+ goals a season scorer and they'd snap your hands off.
If we're even contemplating buying Lakaku for £100m we should at least be winding Levi up by offering at least the same for Kane. Both guarantee goals but Kane has the edge for me - let's offer the Spuds £130m for Kane and Rose and we will throw in Darmian and Fellaini. for free
We knew Ibra was crocked weeks ago, so quite why we 'have cooled our interest to prioritise a front-man' as the press suggests is beyond me. If we still want Greizmann he is, effectively still ours for the taking whether he wants to leave or not - or whether A. Madrid want to sell or not . I still think we will get him, a lot of this is just the usual crap from the press filling in gaps with tosh.
Kane would be the best option, but the lack of rumours around him tend to indicate he's happy to stay at Spurs for at least the time being. I think any move for him would depend on the rest of the squad. Specifically if they manage to keep most of their players he is likely to stay with the side that helped him to the GB over the last two seasons. But if the expected exodus of Walker, Rose, Dier, Alli etc materialises then he may be tempted to go to a team with the ambition to keep their players rather than sell them. So it would probably be a late summer move if it happened.
Lot of rumours that you are going after Lacazette now - you were linked with him before so isn't a new target, he is good enough to replace Griezmann and a quarter of the price.
Is a Mouriniho player in that he is a workhorse and a very disciplined - is a proper winger too. Don't think he is worth what you are paying for him though but then again I thought it was stupid that you paid £30m for some kid from the Ivory Coast...
He gives results up to 50% whiter than the next leading brand. Will you be stalking Matth all of this summer again?
Almost certainly. Was a serious question though. I don't think he's much of an improvement on what you have and he's getting on a bit.
This is true, although the same was said when Mourinho signed Willian for Chelsea. He ended up displacing better players like Mata and Oscar as he fitted the system better, so I'd assume Mourinho has a similar sort of idea with Persic. Potential replacing Rooney or Young as a forward who can actually consistently score goals whilst still working hard defensively.
