Mourinho said " Martial needs to follow the example of teammate Marcus Rashford " ( I wonder if that includes diving lol ). Seems Mourinho has his " Untouchables " and guys who don't get a second chance at a first impression thing from his old Chelsea days resurfacing at Man U .
Mahrez has asked to leave Leicester - would he fit in ? http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/10898673/riyad-mahrez-asks-to-leave-leicester-city
About as un-Mourinho as it gets and will probably live off last season forever. Not good enough for you.
Atletico Madrid have failed in their attempt to appeal their transfer ban. They cannot sign new players. In theory, we should still be able to sign him should we match the release fee - Atletico might not like it much, but in theory there is nothing they can do.
Will depend on the player himself now, whether he feels comfortable turning his back on the club after their directors have ****ed up. This is where you need a real **** of an agent in his ear, hopefully Pogba will do the job for us.
Was just saying the same to Tobes on the PL board, pointless him staying for another year of 'almost' winning something with Atletico, they're not going to get stronger next season and maybe some of the other players will start to look for a move out after this as well. Tobes argued his loyalty to the club, but everybody has a price for the million dollar man.
Makes sense - they can't sign a replacement until Jan so he has some loyalty towards them plus Man Utd need a #9 more then a #10 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40116737
In theory, could Atletico 'sign' Lacazette and loan him back to Lyon until January, whereby they could then register him themselves? Barcelona did this during their transfer 'ban'. They'd be without Greizmann's replacement for a few months, but they have other players, they're not a one man team.
In theory yes. They are banned from registering players to appear in competitions, not signing contracts with them. They can sign anyone they want, but can't register them as Atletico players until Jan. Whether they will want to do this is another question - it's one thing to do it with a potential new signing, another with a replacement for an important existing player.
If you meet Griezzmann's minimum clause then there is nothing that they can do to stop you signing him - is more that you need a Zlatan replacement more and you don't want to be bedding in two strikers at the same time.
He's still 6/5, get in there whilst you can! https://www.skybet.com/football/specials/transfer-specials
We 'needed a Zlatan replacement' anyway mate, his contract expires at the end of the season, nothing has changed. We also have Rashford, who can play the number 9 role so we wouldn't necessarily be bedding in two new players. I think Mourinho wants a proven goalscorer more than anything else and that's what Griezmann is.
Lukaku is the obvious replacement for Ibra - a better goal return than him too. We still need a decent playmaker though. Not liking the fact that we are being linked with Kluivert
