Strange FP1. early morning session can be ignored- next session is important and will reveal actual pace. Merc looks good though. Interested to see if Red Bull can make a jump.
The Merc looks the class of the field again, but me thinks the roles have been reversed from the usual and now it's Merc trying to impress in FP1 and Ferrari are taking it more easy. I see Nando has got the BBQ going.
Well Mercedes have certainly been busy. As well as all those new aero bits the drivers have moved onto their second PUs, which will have been improved and lightened I imagine. Time to see how Ferrari respond. Fingers crossed!
less than a second between the top 6 in FP2, let's see how it pans out for qualifying, I think they'll line up 2 by 2, Merc, Ferr RBR, after that I think Stroll will mess up the symmetry.
Well I've plumped for Hamilton. I've only got it right once this year though. Should get better though, I've done lots of research and I reckon Alonso is a dead cert for the victory in Monaco.
I think this is a pole sitter win, though both sides of the garage of both teams have shown they are quite capable of snatching a loss from a win.
FP2 showed us that Mercedes haven't made a massive breakthrough, Ferrari could cause problems. Still a long way to turn 1
