    Quali and race the same day. Suppose it'll mean I get a lie in on Sunday :)

    I doubt they'll do it now though, requires them all to agree and that's not the done thing in F1.

    Given this is China they have the ability to take drastic actions. Close all roads between the track and the hospital to allow rapid travel kind of actions.

    It seems more rain related than smog, I have a feeling the race will run on Sunday but not actually run. 5 laps behind the safety car then called off.

    Whilst Hamiltons levels of douche vary massively throughout the season it was nice to see his good side today. Out entertaining the fans and handing out signed caps during the stoppage.

    You can't account for all situations but f1 needs to think about contingency plans for these situations. Ways to amuse and appease the fans. You can't win them all but you can lessen the blow.

    I don't think we are at that point yet!

    Merc will find a couple of tenths in quali which on a clean lap might pinch Pole for Hamilton. The key is whether they can get ahead of Bottas I think.

    Raikonnen looking better but he has to deliver today an for tomorrow.

    Any likelihood of someone trying a one stop on mediums tomorrow?

    I'm just sat applauding Alonso here. He's managed to drag that Honda to P10 in Q1 whilst Vandoorne misses out.

    Sure, he'll drop back in Q2 but he is just absolutely world class and seems right at home in this faster Formula.

    Come on Honda!
