Vettel could put in a 1.15.

Kimi was too slow before and after the stop.

And that is why Kimi was on Pole and I went for Vettel even though it's Monaco.
On the other side, it was also the best way to ensure a team 1-2, as Julius says, he was too slow, Bottas had caught up 5 seconds.

Not happy with Ferrari at all here.

You wanna be WDC, you earn it at this point of the season.

Should be no team orders until at least round 15.

Totally screwed Raikonnen in traffic. Another hollow Vettel win. For all his talent, I do feel he's a bit of a snidey bastard with this sort of stuff.

Well, if Karun is correct then there is no blame on Ferrari, but looking at the lap times now is there doubt that it was the right thing to do if it was Ferrari's decision?

Not sure, but given all Hamiltons woes he's not exactly a country mile behind Bottas.

    Why the fuss with Ferrari?

We knew it was going to happen, but Vettels pace suggests he was holding station anyway.

Ferrari know Merc will be back, so they need to maximise this opportunity, Vettel is going to be the one to challenge for the WDC.

yeah, Bottas did a mighty job in qualifying, you can see from the Red-bulls and how fast Danny went when Bottas pitted that the Merc isn't fast here and is holding everyone up. Some poor decisions, a risky strategy from Mercedes and trouble for the FI's have given Lewis his points, he took a Honda powered car off the start and sat behind Kvyat.

Edit: and just to prove me wrong, Lewis starts going fast
