What has Bottas done by dropping off so much... he should have kept himself to about 2-3 off LH and the swap would have been easy
Max is too close. No way they can let Bottas back through it's too risky. I'd be mad if i were Bottas though.
After all the tears after Monaco, would you be surprised? both decisions favour the lead drivers, by accident or design, I think both the former.
But the ferrari's aren't running at their top pace. He should have stayed close, but not too close to over heat or burn his tyres out.

To be fair, Lewis did say he would give position back if he couldnt get past So good on him for sticking to his word. Hopefully the points loss wont cost him championship at end of season

You should look on Twitter. So much egg on face and ever deleting posts from those throwing Hamilton under the bus for not letting Bottas back. Drab race really, kind of tense but then obvious you needed a huge delta to pass. Shame, would have been a cracker at a more open track.
Well done to Lewis for doing the honourable thing there. Would have been very easy to say "he fell to far back" and not do it. Vettel deserves his win today. Had to do the whole race with a broken car and no make a single mistake.
Fair play to Hamilton, he wins one respect point from me, it's the first time I can recall him obeying a team order. If I'd been Merc I wouldn't have made the swap with Max so close, so respect to Merc as well, they could've lost team points, which is their main concern. I don't think Bottas could've had too many complaints if they hadn't ,considering how far he'd dropped back. I really enjoyed the 20 laps from 41 on. Oh, and **** Max.
