Funny you made that point I was discussing it with someone in person. Had the car on edge and nearly lost it full throttle big moment, had me off my chair.
Tyres for the race, although it'll almost certainly be run the supers for as long as you can then slide around on the too hard softs for as little time as possible. If you're out of position it may even be worth doing 1 lap on the softs then going back to supers. please log in to view this image
Anybody see the overlays of the two Mercs quali laps? From the last corner onto the straight there was nothing between them, all time lost from the traction point down the straight.
Hamilton got a tow all the way down the straight from Bottas, who got a minimal amount from Max who had left him at the start to try and get 2 laps in.
Did Bottas go for non existent gap or did Kimi squeeze him? Was it my imagination or did Bottas new wing look different colour to rest of car?
Bottas had plenty of room. Launched over the curb and hit Kimi. Suprised Ferrari hasnt been more damaged.
looks like Vettel didn't touch anything with his front wing so hopefully he's good to go to get after Hamilton. There's bound to be a safety car at some point.
no action for Bottas. seems about right, it was the kerb that bounced him wide so just unfortunate for him and kimi.
booo, that battle between Perez and Verstappen could've been a good race, ****ing Renault. hmm, entertainment car?
Well this race is shaping up well for Perez, nobody want's to look after their car enough to threaten his 3rd place.
