Global warming is not the same as global or regional climate change although one obviously effects the other...

 

Yeah tell that to the Climate Research Unit then who claimed for 10 years that snow will be a thing of the past. Most notably Dr David Viner in 2000
Or the UK met office in 2009 who said Scottish skiing is doomed.

Or tell the Guardian, who see two hot weeks in California or warmer than usual weather in the arctic for a few days and call weather "climate"

The theory you speak of, is actually computer models, that have no predictive power over 5 or 10 years, but are claimed to have predictive power over 50 to 100 These models have been wrong to date, completely, so I have my doubts (especially when one actually grasps what we know and don't know about the atmosphere and oceans )

As I said in the science thread, I don't know IF AGW is valid, but I do know that there is no actual real evidence that it is, and there is no evidence that warming is bad, as shown by the Holocene, and historically ALL warming periods were beneficial to life on earth, without exception.


I only made a joke, I never wanted to get into this especially on this thread. I merely asked for some global warming cos it's minus 24 here with wind chill
